I’m Michael Waxman from Scarlet Studios and I love capturing weddings. After 15+ years, 100’s of weddings, 30+ per year I’m still constantly innovating with new techniques, cameras and adding extras to push the limits of what’s possible with shooting a wedding.

When shooting I’m relaxed, fun, easy going and am very discreet when needed. My style has been described as elegant, emotional, cinematic and beautiful, check out my work here to see for yourself.

I’m nicknamed stealth for my ninja like skills with the camera, I’m fast and discrete as I like to get natural spontaneous shots. I’m good at blending into the guests and putting even the most camera shy groom at ease.

We placed a last(ish) minute booking with Michael and from our first contact he communication was extremely prompt and informative. Despite having never met him in person prior to our big day he captured us and our ceremony beautifully! Not only that but his package pricing was unbelievably affordable, with many optional extras (such as live stream) and his turnaround time was crazy! We received our edited video just 6 days after our wedding. Professional and courteous throughout we would highly recommend Michael for anyone looking to capture an event on video.

 Laura Williams 24 Nov 2018 - Michael did an absolutely amazing job with our wedding video, could not be happier. He is so friendly, easy to work with and a highly skilled videographer. We absolutely love all the beautiful small details he caught, many of which I don’t even remember. I have watched the video about 100 times and it still makes me cry. For anyone on the fence about investing in a videographer, without a doubt do it. The day is over in a flash and thanks to Michael we can relive it, minus all the stress.
